Reader, This year, the boys’ favorite artist, Kane Brown, was there, so we decided to surprise the kids with tickets to the show. Which meant first convincing myself this was actually a place for kids. (Another story for another day. Let's just say a lot has changed in twenty years. Also, so many chairs…Who sits down at a concert? I want names.) For the last couple of weeks, I told them the adults were going to the Festival, but it wasn’t really a place for kids, so they couldn’t go with us. They were not pleased. When we finally shared the news, I was ready with my camera in hand, thinking they were absolutely going to lose their minds… And Nothing. Silence. Blank stares. It was, hands down, the most anticlimactic surprise of my entire parenting career. I had pictured screaming, jumping, chaos. Instead, I got four kids looking at me like I'd asked them to do long division. It wasn't until I said "okay, get your shoes on, we're leaving" that it landed. "Wait — we're actually going?? You SAID it wasn't for kids!" Yes. I did say that. Interesting to learn they do, in fact, listen to things I say. Filing that away for later. Once it clicked, they lost it. Security let them up front for a few of the sets for smaller acts, and by the end, they didn't know whether to laugh or cry because they were so tired! Everyone slept until noon the next day. It was a great, chaotic, slightly unhinged night, and they will absolutely remember it for years to come. But here's what happens sometimes in life and business. Sometimes we get so excited about what we're building, and the anticipation is so high, yet it doesn't always go the way we planned. But in the end, it always has a way of working itself out. Sometimes we just have to be patient, consistent, and trust that whatever happens is meant for us.

P.S. If your team needs more support with marketing, messaging, or building offers that don't require you in the treatment room 24/7 — book a call with me here, and we'll see if it's a fit.
I help natural health and wellness providers turn what they know into offers that sell without more 1:1 time with patients. We build the offers, the simple funnel, and the words that sell it, all while you're doing something else. Oh, and I don't believe in marketing that makes you feel gross, or in having to be on social every day to make it work.
Hi Reader! One of my clients brought me to a conference in DC with her team. I got to learn, soak up the room, and be around people doing BIG things. Groundbreaking for the profession. I also got to support her, so we could find ways to get her better results too! When you surround yourself with the right people, things happen. When a CEO is winning and shares that with her team, everybody wins. More money coming into your practice or business means more VALUE for your community. It lets you...

Good morning Reader! Summer's officially done (this is the first weekend we've been home since mid-July 😳), school's back in session, and my youngest started 4K this past week. He's never been away from anyone but family before, sooo... drop-off has been rough. For him, and for me too. There may have been a few tears shed on both sides. Here's to hoping next week is much better. 🤞🏼 So... needless to say, I feel a little behind on what I think I "should" be doing. But I'm at ease about it,...
